A Cautionary Tale: My Disappointing Experience with TheWeddingSearch.com by Ayesha

Planning a wedding should be one of the most joyful times in your life. Unfortunately, my experience with TheWeddingSearch.com turned what should have been an exciting journey into a frustrating and costly nightmare. After being scammed out of over €600, I feel obligated to share my story so others can avoid the same fate.

I came across TheWeddingSearch.com while looking for help finding reliable wedding vendors. At first glance, the website appeared professional and well-organized. The company promised a tailored matchmaking service for wedding-related needs—venues, photographers, decorators, and more. Their pitch was that they had exclusive access to a vetted network of vendors and could streamline the entire process, saving us time, money, and stress.

That sounded perfect. I contacted them and was soon approached by Neha Aggarwal who introduced herself as the CEO and main contact person. She was friendly, persuasive, and seemed knowledgeable about the wedding industry. After several conversations, she convinced me to purchase a premium matchmaking package, which she claimed would include personalized support, exclusive vendor deals, and full coordination assistance. The price: €600, paid upfront.

That’s where the problems began.

Lack of Service After Payment

Once the money was transferred, the level of communication dropped sharply. Emails went unanswered for days, WhatsApp messages were read but ignored, and phone calls were repeatedly missed or avoided. When I finally did get a response, it was vague and non-committal. I began to realize that the services I had been promised were not going to materialize.

No personalized vendor list was provided, no contracts were arranged, and no follow-up or planning support was offered. I was left entirely on my own, with no value received for the money I had paid. The few vendor names I did get were either generic or outdated. It became clear that this was not a professional matchmaking service—it was a bait-and-switch scheme.

Empty Promises and Excuses

When I confronted Neha Aggarwal about the poor service and demanded a refund, she made excuse after excuse. She blamed vendor unavailability, high demand, and even claimed health issues. At one point, she promised to process a refund, but unsurprisingly, that never happened. The communication eventually stopped altogether.

After weeks of chasing them with no success, I decided to do some deeper research on The Wedding Search Reviews I found that others had similar experiences—paid large sums for “wedding coordination” services that were never delivered. Some reported even larger losses. Shockingly, the company seems to be operating without any transparency or accountability, and there is no formal complaint resolution process in place.

Warning to Others
Based on my experience, TheWeddingSearch.com is not a trustworthy business. Their business practices are deceptive, and they appear to be taking advantage of people during one of the most vulnerable and emotional times in their lives. The person at the helm, Neha Aggarwal, is unfortunately not someone you can rely on.

If you’re currently considering using this service, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. There are many reputable wedding planning platforms and coordinators out there who are transparent about their fees, provide real services, and respect their clients.

What happened to me could happen to anyone. I never imagined I would be scammed while planning my wedding. Let my mistake serve as a warning: do not trust TheWeddingSearch.com with your money, time, or trust.
